Who we are

This website is run by Nikolay Rusanov, trading as Dee Valley Bathrooms and Renovations. We are the controller of the personal details you give us. You can reach us on 07308 516518, by email at [email protected].

What we collect and why

• Quote requests: your name, phone number, email if you give it, your town or postcode, the job, and anything you write about the room. We use them to reply, arrange a survey and price the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract.
• WhatsApp, phone and email: messages and photos you send us, used for the same purpose. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy terms.
• Customers: the details needed to survey, quote, do the work, invoice it and keep the records a business must keep, including certificates for electrical work.
• Website analytics: only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used, with IP addresses anonymised. The lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. See the cookie policy.

Who else handles your details

We do not sell or share your details for marketing. A small number of service providers handle them on our behalf:

• Webso Digital, which built and runs this website and delivers the quote form to us by email
• The website hosting provider, on servers in the European Union, and Cloudflare, which protects and speeds up the site
• The email provider that carries the quote form message
• The registered electrician who certifies electrical work receives the address of the property for the certificate
• Google, for analytics, only with your consent

How long we keep them

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted within twelve months. Records for work we have done are kept for six years, which is what a business needs for its accounts, tax and any guarantee.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete them, object to how we use them, or withdraw consent for analytics. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
